A San Diego Native, Laura M. Batt honed her artistic talents with courses at the San Diego Community College, San Diego Academy of Fine Arts and San Diego State University, as well as, through studies and workshops with numerous renowned artists. Ranging from realistic to abstract, her diversity of style and subject is unique and imaginative. While Laura is accomplished in oil, acrylic and etching, watercolor has been her
greatest challenge. Her creative use of sensitive, vibrant colors and original techniques
exemplifies her success in this media.
Receiving many awards and much recognition, she exhibits throughout the year. Her paintings are in private and corporate collections around the world. Larua is an active member of a number of art groups including the Shorebirds Artist Association, San Diego Watercolor Society and the Coronado Art Association among others.
