Sponsored by the Coronado Art Association to celebrate our 75th Anniversary, Hosted by the Coronado Library


A Free Event for Children Ages  5-11, including coloring book kit give away (first come first serve while supplies last), live classical piano music by Marcus Echols Booth, and live fairy tale ballet dance at 1:15pm by CoSa Dancers as choreographed by Gina Sorenson, Director of the Conservatory of Classical Contemporary Dance.


The public is invited to a free event at the Coronado Library in the Winn Room on Sunday, May 22, from 1 to 2:30 pm for children aged 5 to 11.  While supplies last each child will receive a Free “Color Me Coronado” Coloring book and watercolor kit to be given away. During the event, a live fairy tale ballet dance performed by CoSA dancers at the library at 1:15 pm, and  Artist Connie Spitzer will also be present to sign the coloring books. The Coronado Art Association has published the coloring book and is providing free watercolor kits to celebrate its 75th anniversary this year. The Coronado Library is hosting the event and classical pianist Marcus Echols Booth will perform in the Winn Room. Three Coronado School of the Arts (CoSA) dancers are costumed with lighted wings and will perform a fairy tale promenade ballet through the children's library and the lobby at one pm during the event. Choreography by CoSa Gina Sorensen, Director of the conservatory of Classical and Contemporary Dance. The dancers are Maria Julia Guerra, Bailey Manion, and Sienna Pearson.

An art show opening at the City of Solana Beach City Hall and Art Gallery located at 635 South Highway 101. “Natural Wonders” Artists: Espaniola, Hillenbrand, Kalajian, English, Christiansen, St. Dennis, Avery, and Segovia.
