Local photographer, Gloria Moeller’s, passion for photography is evident in the way she captures the emotions of life in her photographs.
Gloria grew up in her parents’ home-based portrait studio. There she watched her father and mother work magic in the studio and the darkroom and learned the premiere importance of proper composition and lighting.
As an adult, Gloria went on to explore outdoor photography and spends many hours wandering in nature to discover just the right images to share with others. She continuously learns new techniques through photography classes and hones her craft in the field. She has spent years refining her technique and taking courses on the use of Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop for post-editing of her images.
Gloria’s photographs have been shown at the Del Mar Art Center Gallery, The La Jolla Community Center with the La Jolla Art Association, the Escondido Arts Partnership Municipal Gallery, Studio 32 at the Spanish Village Art Center, the Ashton Gallery, the Nainsook Gallery, and at the International Art Show at the San Diego County Fair in Del Mar. She shows regularly with the Coronado Art Association, the San Diego County Art Mart Association in Balboa Park, and on the patio at the Spanish Village Art Center.
